Trademark - the artist

Intensive researches revealed only one artist using another well-known IP term in his name: Trademark Da Skydiver.

The person behind this stage name is Alex Washington (born February 27, 1985 [some sources say in 1987] in New Orleans), an American rapper. He was a member of the Hip-Hop group Jet Life and performs under the aliases "Super Villain" and "Flamingo Barnes."

According to my research, Trademark (as he is often called) is one of the richest rappers with an estimated net worth of $1.5 million. He's ranked on the list of most popular rappers and on the elite list of celebrities born in the US.

His Twitter account is quite silent since January this year so no news to tell.

I put several of Tradmark's song lyrics into a WordCloud generator for visualization. Stereotypical enough, certain politically incorrect terms occur quite often, but the most-used word is "Up" with size 61 which at least has a positive notion! "Money" with size 26 is fifth in place. Unfortunately, no occurrences of any IP-related terms...

Another fun exercise is running Tradmark‘s lyrics through an AI-supported patent search engine (www.octimine.com) . The most pertinent patents can be found in IPC main class A and relate to various sanitary and health devices for bitches.

My favorite US patent, however, claims A system and method for creating exalted video games and virtual realities wherein ideas have consequences (US20090017886A1; https://worldwide.espacenet.com/patent/search/family/040253594/publication/US2009017886A1?q=US20090017886A1). Alone the concept of ideas having consequences (in VR at least) may give rise to interesting philosophical discussions ...
