Mario is a car shop owner who repairs and tunes vintage vehicles from Italy. He was referred to us by one of his friends who was already in business with us.

Clearance
Before filing, a trademark clearance search is strongly recommended.
As a first step, we carried out a so-called knock-out search (i.e., a search for identical signs) on a complementary basis.
A similarity search was then conducted, revealing (e.g., phonetically) similar signs. These signs were assessed in how far they would form a conflict with the client's intended sign.
Filing
Jointly we designed the list of goods and services relevant for the client's business. We discussed all aspects of his business to understand deeply which services and products are offered under the intended sign.
We filed a trademark application in Mario's home country. Due to the fact that we carefully chose items from officially approved lists of goods and services, the application was registered quickly.
